WONDER WOMAN

The year is 1918, and Box Office Pulp has been ravaged by the horrors of The Great War. So, what's a podcast about movies, madness, and moxie to do? Vacation! After plundering Doc Poison's notebook, the BOP Crew take off in their aero-planes for the island of Themyscira, where Princess Buttercup is training a legion of warrior women that are destined to emasculate us all - one of which happens to be the lead of director Patty Jenkins' WONDER WOMAN, the only DC Comics Film to actually be inspirational! But what will happen when Diana puts The Crew under the spell of her lasso of truth? Will they stick by the claim that their podcast is above average? Will James finally get to see a world in which women rule? Will MB, with his foppish British mustache, claim to be a God? And will this episode reveal, in-fact, the exact way that Mike is meant to die? All things are possible with the power of love and the dying thunderbolt of Zeus on your side!

Guardians of the Galaxy

Ooga-chaka ooga-ooga ooga-chaka! The Box Office Pulp team is hooked on a feeling... that GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY is the best film of the summer. In this episode, the crew weeps over Vin Diesel's gravel-tinged voice, realizes that this is the closest cinema will ever come to getting a Captain Planet movie, and marvels (Did we already use this joke for Cap'm America 2? Box Office Pulp doesn't care!) at Thanos and his rocket-powered concrete chair.

Man of Steel

It's a bird, it's a plane, it's the vanishing hopes of the audience expecting to see a post-credit scene! Hero, MB, and Flexo attempt to do some sit-ups before realizing that it's impossible to be more manly looking than Henry Cavill. After giving that up, they gush about THE MAN OF STEEL for an hour. Superhero fans, come on down!

Drive

DRIVE with the Box Office Pulp crew as they uncover Nicolas Winding Refn's darkest inspirations, the danger lurking beneath the collar of a disheveled Ryan Gosling, and the world's burning need for a "skip to Ron Perlman" dvd feature.

The Dark Knight Rises Part 4

The legend ends! And by that, I mean we finally reach the end of our Dark Knight Rises episode. Maybe Trident-Man hangs up his prosthetics and calls it a day. Maybe Nolan is a genius for making the jerkiest version of Batman to grace cinema yet. And maybe we'll be done talking about the Dark Knight for a while (No, no, and no, respectively).

The Dark Knight Rises Part 1

Box Office Pulp rises! MB, Mike, James, and Flexo pull on their Kevlar spelunking gear once again to wage battle with Christopher Nolan's epic conclusion to the Dark Knight trilogy. Not only should you brace yourselves for spoilers, but for the black hatred of scorned fanboys... even as they attempt to focus on the positives.
