SCREAM 6

Ghostface and BOP are back, baby! After their respective hiatuses, one is here to talk about movies and the other to cut a bloody swath through New York City. We'll let you decide which is which. Regardless, The Core Four are back on the silver screen with a new masked slasher to contend with, and Mike and Cody get to gab about what may be one of their new favorite entries in the Scream franchise! Mostly importantly, though, they get to loudly declare "Kirby Lives!" with righteous indignation. So how does the sixth installment fare without series lead Sidney Prescott? What larger thesis is the film presenting? Is this the New York set slasher we've long dreamed of? All this and updates on Stu Watch 2023 in this very episode!

THE CABIN IN THE WOODS (with Carter Lee)

The lambs have downloaded the podcast. Let them affix their earbuds and cleanse them. Cleanse the world of their ignoran-- wait, this description is for public consumption, isn't it? Oh man, I don't know who's reading this. I gotta be more careful. Anyways, if you haven't gathered by that super hilarious bit of parody, The Crew is FINALLY appeasing the Ancient Ones by assuming their stereotypes of The Athlete, The Scholar, The Virgi-- oh, let's face it, we're all The Fool. Either way, the stage is set to wax poetically about Drew Goddard's THE CABIN IN THE WOODS! And to really get into the meat of this meta-horror masterpiece, we've invited Friend of BOP, journalist, author, wrestler, advocate, space scientist adventurer (might have made that last one up), and our very own Fornicus, Lord of Bondage and Pain: Carter Lee!

The LEGO Batman Movie

In a franchise that has seen returns, forevers, rises, dawnings and beginnings, there's only one spectrum of cinema that The Caped Crusader has yet to conquer: multi-million dollar animated children's movies rendered entirely in tiny bits of plastic. But does THE LEGO BATMAN MOVIE live up to the legacy it dares deconstruct? It's time to light the individual signals for movies, madness, and moxie, because The BOP Crew is on the case! But just how far is too far when it comes to satirizing Cody's beloved hero? When do the rose-tinted glasses of MB's youth fall away to reveal the sinister underpinnings of a so-called "superhero" who claims to have nine abs? What monstrous vehicle of The Dark Knight's terrifies Mike the most? All of these questions and more, including who does the sickest back-flips, are answered within!
