THIR13EN GHOSTS Commentary Track

Cheers from beyond the grave, folks! William S. Castle, Jr. here, warning you of the latest advancement in spook technology destined to turn the podCastle world upside-down! You may THINK you've seen the 2001 remake of my beloved Thir13en Ghosts, but you can't call yourself a cinephile until you've experienced it in COMMENT-O-SCOPE. Do you dare listen to this BOP n' A Tragedy commentary track, as your thr3e hosts explore their love/hate/love relationship with Scott Beck's disorienting cult classic? Some say this haunted house ride of a film paved the road that Dark Castle and others would follow for a decade, but can YOU walk the same path, dodging knife-wielding beauties, plus-sized babies, and spasming Matthew Lillards? The faint of heart need not worry, though, if the secrets of the Black Zodiac are too much for you, just press the "PANIC" button on your seat, and you'll be escorted to our NPR Corner, where you can listen to harmless shows more befitting a... well, I'M not going to say it! Now where is that skeleton waiter with my vodka and boo-bon?

Crisis on Infinite Nights He Came Home: The Many Timelines of Michael Myers

Death has come to our little podcast. We can either ignore it, confront it, or choose our own version to stare down as we shout SIX TIMES! at it. For this episode, we discuss the night HE came home... or is it the night HE continued being home? Or, wait, was it the night HE came home ten years later? Twenty years later? FORTY years later? Resurrected? Out to return? For revenge? Quite frankly, we're not sure what’s going on with serial slasher and mechanic coverall enthusiast Michael Myers of the famed HALLOWEEN franchise, but we're putting our best tan trench coats on and figuring it out, tackling the many differing timelines of the horror series and what’s unique and occasionally broken about each!

Mini BOP - PET SEMETARY (2019)

Follow us to the sacred place. No, folks, this ain't a dream, and you can't escape! The moon is full and the air is still, and we are just covered in undead cat hair. Which can only mean one thing... dead really is better. But so is BOP! In this episode, Mike and Cody exhume themselves for a chat on the new adaptation of Stephen King's darkest work: PET SEMETARY. We discuss the impressive changes from the source, how it captures King's themes, some spooktastic atmospheres, and difficulties in translating the book's particular brand of unsettling to the big screen. But, most importantly, we learn that we all could use a little more Wendigo in our lives. Open your hearts, people!

Tales From The BOP: THE MUMMY (2017)

Leave your bright and sunny universe behind and take a step into a Da-- oh, sorry, as I was typing that, that entire initiative was cancelled. ANYWAYS, you may no longer be able to wander the secretive halls of Prodigium again anytime soon, but you can wander the halls of Cody's Memory Palace! Come inside, kiddies, for a new installment of Taaaaales Froooom The BOOOOOOOP! In which films not on the "must see!" spectrum are retold to you by one of our illustrious Crew members, who took the plunge into movie muck so you don't have to! This time, Cody recounts, like an exposition spewing Doc Jekyll, that time a major studio buried themselves alive like so many Imhotep's by placing their Cinematic Universe hopes in the hands of a crazy, running in place Scientologist. Prepare for a world of God's, Monsters, perplexing plot turns, Tom Cruise being an asshole, and a Pyramid's worth of over-done flashbacks. It's the first and only Dark Universe entry -- THE MUMMY!

Mummies alive! Avoid getting cursed by downloading the episode now!

EVIL DEAD (2013) Commentary Track

The BOP Crew wants you folks to CUT IT! But if you've somehow managed to not read from a cursed book bound in human flesh and become possessed, then you're definitely ready to join us in this sojourn into the woods for this extra special BOP 'n A Movie feature commentary! Why so extra special, you ask? Because we find ourselves celebrating the five year anniversary of Fede Alvarez's supremely underrated EVIL DEAD remake! Entwined within this audio recorded in human blood, we delve into the aftermath of it's release, the abandoned franchise plans - including the crossover with Ash himself! - and the overlooked and hefty sub-textual themes of drug abuse, addiction, and self-destruction this film carries with it! Evil Dead deserves your respect, and if you don't give it, Mia WILL probably shove a chainsaw in your face.

MY BLOODY VALENTINE 3D

Ah, Valentine's Day. Not only is love in the air, but also all the other heralds of the holiday: chocolate, those little candy heart things that everyone seems to enjoy so much, bouquets of red roses, flying entrails, gallons of blood, hallmark cards, and, of course, no V-Day would be complete without some gratuitous nudity. Okay, so maybe Box Office Pulp is celebrating a little bit differently than most, but the message is the same -- we love a good holiday themed slasher. So, to honor thy festival of love, the Crew is doing an episode all about how much they love the criminally underrated horror remake (by the always brilliant duo of Patrick Lussier and Todd Farmer): MY BLOODY VALENTINE 3D! D! D! D! D! That's a lot of D's.

Be ours 4 ever by downloading here!
